Tips and tricks related to time and date in Plan 9

To change the timezone (takes effect upon reboot):

; cp /adm/timezone/$yourzone /adm/timezone/local

Note that Plan 9 timezone files are a bit outdated. but shouldn't be much issue in almost all cases.

To sync your clock:

; aux/timesync -n pool.ntp.org
